Based in Essex, Blackman and White Ltd was established in 1964 by two engineers, Les White Les White and Jack Blackman.  Les brought his special expertise in machine tools and Jack was a highly experienced electrical engineer.  We remain a family-owned company today, committed to designing and building specialist cutting machines of the highest quality and continuing to work at the leading edge of technology.  Our range of products includes the prestigious Orion, Genesis and MasterCut series, enabling you to choose a machine that will cut anything from soft leather and PVC through to heavy duty Kevlar.  Additionally, our team of talented software engineers can offer software solutions and customer support anywhere in the world.  We provide on-site training to ensure that you are up and running and increasing productivity as quickly as possible.

Orion Total Solution

Our Orion Cutter/Plotter Total Solution is just that.  We emphasise speed, accuracy and ease of use.  The Total Solution offers easy to use software, which means you are in control.  We install the cutter/plotter and provide mechanical and software training, as well as basic maintenance training, at your site.  The Orion Total Solution is available in a range of sizes from 1.5m to 3m cut width and from 1.5m to 15m cut length and is designed for use with single or multi-ply materials up to 5mm thick.  Each machine is purpose built to fit your space.  We also offer a remote support system so that, if needed, we can diagnose and resolve any issues for you wherever you are located worldwide, saving you time and expense and safeguarding your productivity.  All this equates to the Total Solution, which we offer at a very competitive price.

Genesis Laser Cutter

Part of the Genesis range of flatbed and conveyorised cutters, the Genesis Laser Cutter is extremely accurate and extremely flexible, with a multi-tool head suitable for rotary or fixed blades.  Accuracy and flexibility is further ensured by our one of a kind self-sharpening oscillating blade.  Power options are available at 50 watts, 100 watts or 200 watts.  The Genesis Laser Cutter has a dual knife and laser, allowing you to cut on the same or separate gantries.   Offering accurate precision cutting with a variety of application options, the laser cutter handles a range of materials from PVC and textiles through to heavy duty Kevlar and Spectra.

Genesis Flatbed Cutter

If you are looking for first rate heavy duty performance and want durability, flexibility and reliability the Genesis Flatbed Cutter will tick all the boxes.  This is the platform for multi-function tooling.  The cutter handles a wide range of materials all the way from PVC through to Kevlar and is available in widths of 1.6m, 2m and 3m.  We can offer a custom solution, crafting the cutter to your requirements.  If you need to cut larger panels, we can produce the Genesis Flatbed Cutter on a table up to 80m long, making it the ideal solution.

MasterCut Heavy-Duty

If you need a cutter that is really powerful, long lasting and sturdy, MasterCut heavy duty flatbed cutting platforms are the answer, having been designed to handle the toughest materials and harshest working conditions.  There are two additions to the MasterCut range.  The first of these is the MasterCut Versa-Tech, the latest word in versatility.  This machine boasts a wide range of cutting capabilities and is built to handle heavy materials.  The new improved cutting head design gives even more power and ensures durability, as well as delivering extreme accuracy and speed, capable of precision cutting with an accuracy of +/- 0.02mm.  The second new product is the MasterCut Multi-Tech, which delivers 3 cut widths of 2.1m, 3.2m or 5m.  If that doesn’t meet your requirements we can provide custom sizes to meet your needs, cutting lengths of up to 100m.

Genesis Cutter/Plotter Plus Inkjet Printer

Ideal for print finishing, composites and upholstery, our Genesis range is both flexible and precise.  In addition to all the high quality features of the standard Genesis Cutter, including a multi-tool head feature which can carry rotary or fixed blades, self-sharpening blade and driven ‘pizza’ wheel, the Genesis Cutter/Plotter Plus Inkjet Printer will code and mark products and is excellent for marking complex codes.  This product has the virtue of being non-contact and compatible with a wide range of different inks.  Operating at high speed to produce seamless production, the machine has integrated software with touch screen controls.

Genesis Cutter/Plotter Plus Sander

This machine is ideal for marking, cutting and sanding, achieving an accurate and professional finish.  The Genesis Cutter/Plotter plus Sander has all the benefits of the standard Genesis Cutter, including a multi-tool head feature that can carry fixed or rotary blades and self-sharpening oscillating blade, as well as driven ‘pizza’ wheel.  It can cut anything from PVC to heavy duty Kevlar.  In addition, the sander has an abrading head which achieves fast and accurate high quality sanding without the need to sand by hand.  It has a built-in extraction system to effectively remove dust and particles, making it ideal for use in the marine and leisure industries.
